Meet Your Designer

My name is Chandra Hughes. I am a self-taught Graphic Designer with over 12 years of experience. I graduated from Savannah State University with BA in Mass Communications and a Minor in Marketing. My passion for graphic design started when I was in high school. My first exposure in the field was using photoshop during the spot color trend that became popular in 2006. Over the years, I started doing small design projects for my family and friends to continue perfecting my craft and started to dabble into the other programs Adobe offered. I have always been inspired by the thought of creating stunning, innovative designs for businesses or individuals to share across their platforms. 

 

I don’t see graphic designing as a job, but more of my lifestyle. I have an ultimate passion for ad design, branding, and advertising material. I build clean, captivating, and functional designs that will leave a lasting impact on my clients. When creating designs, my main focus is to make sure that my designs properly communicate the message of my client’s brand.

 

In my recent design career, I worked for Morris Multimedia. I served as the Graphic Designer and Production Manager. I managed and designed for Bryan County New, Coastal Courier, and Savannah Pennysaver. My position allowed me to build ads, layout magazines, and newspapers, commercial printing, etc. I have worked with many different clients from the real estate field to the medical field. I had gained great project management skills that have allowed me to work on multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines in a timely manner. 

  

Graphic Design is my life. It's something I can’t wait to do every day.
